What is Cytocare 532 and what are the benefits?

Cytocare 532 is a skin booster that has both Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and a rejuvenating complex which contains antioxidant protective properties.

As we know, HA is naturally produced by the body, and lubricates the internal joints of the body. It also helps to retain water, hydrating connective tissues like skin. This also helps to stretch skin and keep it supple, reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

As the name suggests, skin boosters are meant to boost the qualities of the skin and to build up properties in the skin that are lacking, hydration for example.

What is so special about Cytocare 532’s composition?

Cytocare 532 has the highest HA content on the market, containing 32mg of the substance, hence the ‘32’ in the name. This high HA content helps to boost the hydration content of the skin, giving a fresh smooth texture and a more youthful appearance.

Besides that, it has a rejuvenating complex, allowing Cytocare 532 to act on two levels simultaneously. First, it can work deep on the fibroblasts (cells that form the connective tissues in our bodies). Secondly, it also works superficially on the keratinocytes (primary skin cell in our epidermis).

How is Cytocare 532 different from other HA fillers?

Cytocare 532 also significantly stimulates sulfated glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) neosynthesis in our bodies. While GAGs have many important functions in our bodies, the most important and relevant to the treatment are cell growth regulation, cell repair and proliferation, and even wound repair.

We know that UV radiation causes damage over time to the skin. Cytocare 532 counters this by efficiently protecting the keratinocytes from UV radiation, and is the only skin booster to then have an antioxidant protective effect.

Depending on each individual patient, Dr Ashley will give his calibrated advice and customise the treatment individually, as some patients may need other treatments to enhance the effects of Cytocare 532.

How often should the Cytocare procedure be done?

Cytocare is delivered via 1 of 2 methods. The first method is manual injection with a very small needle. The second method is micro-injection with a mesogun. It is recommended to have 3 sessions with 3-4 weeks intervals.

Is there any pain?

Before the procedure, after consultation with our aesthetic doctor, you will be taken to the treatment room for numbing cream to be applied. This is to further enhance your comfort throughout the process. Once this is done, the doctor will then start the injections into the desired areas of the face. The injections will be done gently and carefully. The process only takes several minutes. Both methods are relatively quick and painless.

Is there any downtime for this procedure?

There is minimal downtime after the procedure (for both methods). There might be a very slight chance of bruising and slight swelling which will go down in a few hours. The chances of this happening is even less with the mesogun injection method.

How long will the effects of Cytocare 532 last?

The effects of Cytocare 532 after the recommended regimen, can last up to 1 year.
